Waste of gas and time.They’ll spam text/call you to confirm or schedule appointments but nobody will be at the CLOSED office the day of your appointment. Got tired of missing work days and wasting time/gas.I’d even called to say I was running 5 min late and they said it would be no problem. So why did I still arrive to a CLOSED office and not notified that my appointment had been CANCELLED without notice?! The guy on the phone STILL asked me if I wanted to “ cancel today’s appointment!” THE OFFICE IS CLOSED, there is CLEARLY no appointment. LolI still gave them multiple chances after getting cancelled. Today I went in to “finish my fillings” after a few cancellations. I’m in the middle of a big move and still went out of the way to finish my treatment plan.Tell me why they couldn’t pin point the tooth that needed fillings!? They’d had me come in for a tooth that had just been filled by them 2 weeks ago. Basically I was told no more work needed to be done and they sent me home!Such an inconvenience!I referred 2 people and they’ve been just as disappointed and stopped going as well.They always ask for reviews.. heres your review.(Note: no hate to one of the front desk/assistants that isnt responsible for scheduling appointments at Newbury. She was kind and actually understood the frustration each time.)

I had an appointment for today, they called me and texting me during the whole week for confirm and I did , for my surprise I came and is closed !!! I called and the operator told me they closed today !!! Why if they know is close they kept calling me for confirm my appointment, I’m really upset how unprofessional they are, I waste my time and cancel importante things just for nothing
I had 2 extractions. After several hours, one was still bleeding a lot. I called your office spoke with Mary, and she transferred me to an extension that disconnected me. I continuously called back (over a dozen times), before Mary answered again. I was placed on hold. After several minutes, Mary informed me that her supervisor was busy, but would call me back. It has been over a week, and NO ONE has called me back. I am still experiencing a lot of pain!!!
Dr Gustavo Assatourians And his staff are absolutely fantastic! They took care of my needs and made sure I was okay throughout the process. I absolutely recommend them to anybody and everybody!!

I always hated going to the dentist because they always hurt me. I had a very bad tooth with a high amount of debilitating pain. I saw a dentist who did nothing to help me. I started calling around and found this office in Newbury Park. They got me in immediately and he was so gentle and kind. Dr. Gustavo is the best and most caring dentist I have ever been to. He always tells me "Nothing I do should ever hurt you" I don't get anxiety when I have a dentist appointment anymore. He's the best and his staff are very friendly and helpful.

This is a shout out to say thank you to Dr. Gustavo, Perla, Maggie & and all the other Channel, Islands dentistry, people! The cap on my front tooth randomly fell off at 9:30 in the morning yesterday I was in shock and couldn’t talk without that tooth and didn’t understand how it happened so I went straight to the Ventura Office where I go and Perla got me in right away. I was so surprised Dr. Gustavo took care of me with x-rays explanation and a positive plan for treatment before I left a short time later Perla had run out to the elevator to catch me with a next day appointment at their Newberry Park office parentheses which was fun to visit. Dr. Gustavo is so gentle and kind and very much an expert at giving shots! I am now awaiting a new crown. Thank you so much everyone at Channel Islands dentistry! That means a lot to have a dentist nearby that you can really count on!

Very personable staff, efficient with their time, and always willing to accommodate your needs! I'm not a huge fan of going to the dentist, the sound of that drill will haunt my nightmares, but the experience here makes it bearable!
Excelente cervicio ,,mi hija tenía miedo en su primer cita fue para extracción y caries pero ya hoy es su segunda cita y está felis quiere decir que acen un buen trabajo ,,

It’s always a great experience at Channel Islands! Everyone, from the dentist to the receptionist have all been incredible. I had 2 teeth pulled yesterday. Never a fun experience, but I was in excellent hands! Thank you!
Above my expectations from front to back office, hats off to Dr. Rob Marroquin for being so thorough and his excellent bedside manner much appreciated. I highly recommend the Santa Paula office.

Our experience at this dental office was very positive. Our daughter is an adult with special needs & she had a traumatizing experience with another dental office so she was terrified to go back to any dentist. Channel Islands Family Dental Office in Oxnard was a lifesaver for us. They treated her with dignity, respect & in a gentle manner which made her her feel comfortable & relaxed. The staff & dentist were friendly & compassionate which also helped to put her at ease. This exceptional dental office is friendly, professional, compassionate & caring. They are also extremely knowledgeable with excellent skills. I trust them with my daughter's care & will continue her treatment at Channel Islands Family Dental Office in Oxnard. Thank you to the entire office for your excellent care & service. A special thank you to Maria with whom I scheduled Julia's initial appointment. Mi primera cita con Channel Island Family Dental fue mi chequeo, el doctor me recomendó mi limpieza de dientes y otras cosas que necesitaba para mi tratamiento dental, mi experiencia fue muy buena, las muchachas de recepción y los asistentes del doctor son muy amables, El doctor es muy profesional, muy amable, hace sentir a uno muy bien porque Él doctor habla inglés y español, definitivamente para sus tratamientos Dentales los recomiendo y los califico con 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Amazing staff, very organized and professional. They will work out payment plans with you and it's very evident that the Dr puts client care above all else. 2nd to none this is by far the best dental work I have recieved. Very knowledgeable and insightful when it comes to informing me about what's going on and what's to come.

La atención personalizada me agrado. Ahora bien, lo relacionado con procedimientos en línea hay que mejorar. Se pierde tiempo ingresando los datos para que cuando se esté frente al personal el día de la cita no se encuentran en la red.

Had root canals and fillings for my family members including children. Found everyone to be professional, friendly and PAIN FREE! Work is completed quickly and we are all very happy with the results. Definitely a good dentist for your family.

Very clean and friendly staff! The wait time was very long and the result of me waiting so long made me come back later because it was lunch time and the doctors were gone. Also the lady that did my x-rays wasn’t sure of what she was doing she kept asking for help from other staff and made it longer as well.
